Youssuf El Adlani

My name is Youssuf El Adlani, I am a French-speaking Italian powerlifting coach since 2019. Currently, I am coaching around fifty athletes of all levels.

My certifications

After obtaining my STAPS degree with a focus on strength training in 2019 from Montpellier, France, I started my powerlifting coaching services. To enhance my skills in this field, I pursued numerous independent courses outside of university:

- Federal diplomas in powerlifting and weightlifting Level 2

- Pre script LV1

- Clean Health Fitness Institute: Nutrition Level 2

- Integrated Kinetic Neurology: LV 1

2019 Highlights:

- Junior Champion, Italy 93 Jr: Set junior squat record.
- Open Champion, Italy 93: Achieved records in open squat and junior total.
- European Champion, 93 Jr: New Italian records in open squat, junior deadlift, and open total.

2021-2023 Achievements:

- Senior Champion, Italy 105 (2021 & 2022): Established records in open squat, bench, and total.

- 7th Place, World Championships 105 (2022): Set Italian open records in squat and total.

- 10th Place, European Championships 105 (2022).

- Senior Champion, Italy 105 (2023): Set a new Italian open deadlift record.

Noémie Allabert - Since 2021

Triple French Champion (2021-2023): Dominated the national scene for three consecutive years.

European Champion (2021-2023): Consistently outperformed the competition across Europe.

Sheffield Selections: Competed in 2023 and 2024, securing second place in 2023.

World Achievements: World Champion in 2021 and 2022, with a vice-championship in 2023.

Julien Balangwe Bakinien - Since 2022

2023 World Championships: Achieved a 12th place finish

Vincent Boissière - Since 2023

Back pain on low loads: Vincent started with significant lower back pain, even under light weights.

Almost no pain: Today, Vincent experiences almost no back pain, showcasing a remarkable recovery.

Impressive lifting progress: Currently lifts 240kg in squat, 160kg in bench press, and a double at 260kg in deadlift, at a bodyweight of 85/86kg.

Ronan Foucré - Since 2020

Started in 2020 with a total of 600kg in Junior -93kg.

Moving to -105kg class: Aiming to surpass a total lift of 800kg 

Competed at the Western European Championships (WEC) and selected in the Pyrénées Cup twice.

Vice Champion of France: Achieved the title of vice champion in the -93kg Junior category in both 2021 and 2022.

3rd Place at WEC: Secured a bronze in the -93kg category at the Western European Championships.

Marwane Taoufiki - Since 2021

Current records: Has impressively increased his totals to 252.5kg in the squat, 190kg in the bench press, and 300kg in the deadlift.

Personal record progression: Started with personal bests of 200kg squat, 145kg bench press, and 240kg deadlift.​

Andrea Cicero - Since 2022

Quadruple ​Italian Champion : Junior and Open in 2022 and 2023 with Squat, bench press and total national records

A solid progression that enabled him to do, 300kg on squat, 200kg in the bench press and 340kg on deadlift during training.

Double ​Vice European Junior Champion -93kg 2022 and 2023​ with bench press italian record in 2022

Nicole Spini - Since 2022

Double Italian Champion: Nicole managed to secure the title twice in a row at the 2022 Italian Championships and the 2022 Next Generation Championships.

Italian Vice Champion 2024: Nicole clinched second place and her selection for the World Championships and the European Championships.

Italian Champion in bench press in the -57kg category and national record holder.

4th at the 2023 European Championships.

Current competition levels: Has improved to 260kg squat, 160kg bench press in competition, and 307.5kg deadlift; achieved a 170kg bench press in training before experiencing a pectoral strain.

Injury recovery: Came back from a hamstring tear, showing resilience and determination.

Initial lifts: Began with a baseline of 225kg squat, 150kg bench press, and 260kg deadlift.

Alex Pagliani - Since 2023
Vincenzo Conigliaro - Since 2021

Initial strength levels: Began after a significant weight loss with starting lifts of 240kg squat, 140kg bench press, and 280kg deadlift.

Current competition performance: Competes in a higher weight category, now lifting 315.5kg in the squat, 160kg in the bench press, and 317kg in the deadlift.

Italian junior rankings: Placed 3rd in the -105kg junior category in 2021 and 2022.

Move to -120kg category in 2023: Achieved 2nd place with a record-setting squat performance.

Diego Eccher  -Since 2021

Relatively novice athlete, we started in December 2021 with 110kg in squat, 100kg in bench press, and 140kg in deadlift.

In two years, we reached 210kg in squat, 150kg in bench press, and 260kg for 2 reps in deadlift, despite a significant several-month break in the middle of coaching due to a back injury.
